Spider-Bats are creatures of the Land of the Dead. A tribe of them can be found in the Petrified Forest.
Physical Description[]
As the name suggest they combine characteristics both of bats and spiders. They resemble that of spiders with six yellow eyes (two big eyes and four smaller eyes) and a pair of piercing fangs, but sport large leathery bat-like wings.
Nature[]
Presumably, like the fire beavers, they seem to be fed on bones of hapless souls who lose themselves in the forest, judging from the piles of bones found near their nest. They are winged, yet they spin webs between the tree branches.
Role[]
Glottis' heart was glued and trapped on a spider-bat's web and Manny Calavera had to recover it and revive his friend.
